Obituary

Edward Parnell 69, of Franklin, died Sunday Jan. 6, 2008, at Caritas Norwood Hospital, following a long illness.

Born in Boston, he lived in Franklin for most of his life.

Mr. Parnell was a retired textile worker, having worked for many years at the Clark Cutler McDermott Co. in Franklin.

He was an avid sports fan of the Boston Red Sox, New England Patriots and horse racing.

He leaves no immediate survivors, but many friends in Franklin.
