Obituary

Mrs. Doris (Coleman) Heriot 85, of Franklin, died Sunday night at Hearthstone in Marlborough, following a 1 year period of failing health. She was the wife of the late Walter J. Heriot, who died in 1992.
Born in Ramsey, New Jersey February 14, 1921 a daughter of the late Lester and Grace (Ayers) Coleman, she lived in Manchester, New Jersey before moving to this area in 2000.
She was educated in New York, and was a retired real estate broker having worked for the Bustard Realty Company of Teaneck, New Jersey.
She was a former Cub Scout Den Mother, and her interests included theater and reading.
She is survived by 2 sons Robert J. Heriot and his wife Donna of Franklin, Kenneth J. Heriot and his wife Thellen of San Francisco, California and a daughter Cathy A. Heriot and her husband Daniel Cornwell of Long Beach, California, a sister Elizabeth Lieto of Toms River, New Jersey, 5 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend her funeral service on Saturday December 9, 2006 at 7:00PM in the Charles F. Oteri and Son Franklin Funeral Home 33 Cottage St. Franklin. Following cremation, burial will take place in New Jersey.
