Obituary

Dennis J. Gerard 68, passed away unexpectedly, Monday November 14, 2022. He was the husband of Sandra J. (Bussaglia) Gerard.

Born July 24, 1954, in Brooklyn, New York, a son of the late William and Blanche (Albano) Gerard, he was a resident of the local area for many years.

He was raised and educated in Franklin, and was a graduate of Franklin High School.

Dennis was a retired automotive salesman, having worked for the former Valley Ford in Milford, Patalano Ford and Keigan Chevrolet in Franklin.

Dennis enjoyed spending time with his family, he listened and watched comedy, he would often be seen laughing and was always able to find the positives in the negatives. Classic cars, hunting, all sports including football, baseball, basketball were of interest to him. He was a musician at heart who played the drums.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by a son, Bryan A. Gerard of Franklin, brothers, Timothy Gerard of New York, Gary Gerard and his nieces & nephews.

He was the brother of the late William Gerard, Jr., and Laura Ackerman.

His funeral service and interment will be held privately.
