Daniel P. "Dan" Caldararo

Daniel P. “Dan” Caldararo 72, of Franklin, passed away peacefully, with loved ones at his side Saturday October 24, 2026, following a courageous battle with cancer where he never gave up. He was the beloved husband of Bernadette (Lyons) Caldararo, "Boo," with whom he shared 40 years of marriage and became the bedrock of both the Caldararo and Lyons families.

Born January 16, 1954, in Milford, a son of the late James A. and Margaret C. (Mahan) Caldararo, he was a longtime resident of Franklin before putting down roots in both Medway and the Cape, where he started every morning with coffee and his NY Post.

Dan was a graduate of Franklin High School and became a Master Plumber by trade and had the opportunity to start his own plumbing business, Bernadan, LLC. A consummate worker, he remained dedicated to his craft continuing to work into his seventies.

Nothing was more important to Dan than his family. In addition to his wife, he is survived by his son, Michael Caldararo, his sister, Nancy A. Molloy of Franklin, and his brother, Paul M. Caldararo and his wife Deborah of Franklin.

Dan was preceded in death by his siblings Janet L. Doran and James F. Caldararo.
