Christina "Tina" A. Bertone

Christina Ann Bertone (Tina) 61 of Franklin Mass passed away unexpectedly Monday May 4, 2026.

Tina Bertone was born on March 8, 1965, at Norwood Hospital, beloved child of Mile Bertone from Saint Angelo Grotto Italy and the late Irene Mucciarone from Franklin, MA.

Tina grew up in Franklin where she went to school at Tri County Vocational School and Dean Junior College where she studied Child Development at both schools. Tina was loved by all people, especially children, and that is why she dedicated the last 26 years working at Prospect Hill Country Day School in Franklin where she was a preschool teacher, first working with the babies and then working with the toddlers. She always made an impact with the children and their parents. Her love for the children was infectious, she deeply cared for all of them. Tina also loved retail, she worked at Ames Stores and Bob’s Stores as a sales associate.

Tina will be remembered for her smile, her laughter, her generosity and most for her devotion to her family. Tina was a kind and caring person who gave the best hugs to everyone and always loved to be hugged. Tina was also a creative person that made and sold jewelry, she liked to draw, paint, and play all sorts of online games and most of all she loved music, it gave her joy, encouragement and peace.

Tina is survived by her father Mike Bertone, from Franklin, her sisters Maria Pallidini from Franklin, Rita Bertone from Connecticut, Diane Bertone from Franklin, her brother Michael Bertone from Franklin, her niece Dawn Marie Greenhalgh, her nephew Anthony Greenhalgh, and uncles, aunts, and cousins.

Calling hours will be at the Charles F. Oteri and Son Franklin Funeral Home at 33 Cottage St. on Friday May 8, 2026, from 4:00 pm-7:00 pm.

Funeral services will be at St. Mary’s Church 1 Church Square, Franklin MA 02038 on Saturday May 9, 2026, at 10:00 am. To view the Mass stmarysfranklin.org 

Following the funeral Mass Tina will be laid to rest at St. Mary’s Cemetery at 175 Bever St. Franklin MA 02038.
