Obituary

Franklin—Carol A. (Carlow) Petersen 63, of Franklin, died peacefully at the University of Massachusetts Memorial Medical Center in Worcester, Thursday March 14, 2013 following a brief illness. She was the beloved wife of Francis L. "Sandy" Petersen, Jr.
Born October 29, 1949 in Boston, a daughter of the late Paul C. and Catherine R. (Murray) Carlow, she was raised in the West Roxbury section of Boston and was a 1967 graduate of Franklin High School.
Carol was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend. She enjoyed yard sales, antiquing and babysitting her grandchildren.
In addition to her husband of 43 years, she is survived by 3 sons Scott F. Petersen and his wife Gretchen of Milford, Robert D. Petersen and his wife Chrissy of Medway and Brian M. Petersen of Franklin, 3 brothers Paul C. Carlow of Norfolk, Kevin J. Carlow & Thomas H. Carlow both of Franklin, 3 sisters Jayne R. Batog and Mary Ann Gabriel both of Franklin and Christine C. Conway of Marshfield.
Also surviving are her beloved grandchildren; Jake T., Tess H., Charlie J., and Meredith Petersen & many nieces and nephews.
