Brian A. "Buzzy" Bussaglia, Sr., 61, of Franklin, MA passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, June 25, 2020 at UMass Medical Center while awaiting a liver transplant. Born in Milford, MA on February 4, 1959 he is the beloved husband of Lynn M. (Brodeur) Bussaglia. He is the son of the late Ernest and Florence (Carlucci) Bussaglia and son-in-law of Larry Brodeur and the late Merry Brodeur of North Smithfield, RI.
He is the loving father of Brian A. Bussaglia, Jr. of Franklin, MA, Brandon J. Bussaglia and his fiancé Aimee C. Evers of Bellingham, MA, Brianna L. Bussaglia of Franklin, MA and Bryce P. Bussaglia of Franklin, MA. He is "Grampy" to his cherished grandson, Lucas J. Bussaglia. He is the brother of Ernest Bussaglia, Jr. and his wife, Nancy of Wrentham, MA and Nokomis, FL, Sandra Gerard and her husband Dennis of Franklin, MA, Susan Ibeling and her husband Nate, of Jordan, MN. He is preceded in death by his late brother, Richard Bussaglia. He is survived by his sister-in-law Laura Melo and his brother-in-law, Jeff Brodeur. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews and great-nieces and nephews.
Brian was a resident of Franklin his entire life and a graduate of Franklin High School Class of 1977, where he was a hockey standout. After graduation he spent many years working as an equipment operator for his dad in the family paving and landscaping business. He also covered a lot of pavement on his Harley Davidson.
Brian was a proud son, brother, husband, father and grandfather with a larger than life personality. Devoted to his family and friends, he will be greatly missed.
A Celebration of "Buzzy's" Life will be held at a later date and will be announced.
