Obituary

Brian Bassett 37, of Millville, Ma died suddenly Saturday in Woonsocket, Rhode Island.
Born in Milford, April 29, 1970 a son of Earl R. Bassett Sr. of Hopedale, and Mary D. (Plouffe) Bassett of Bellingham, he lived in Millville for about 20 years, formerly residing in Bellingham.
He was educated in Bellingham, and at the time of his death was employed as a carpenter with the family business, Bassett Home Improvement Co. of Millville.
An avid outdoorsman, his passion was scuba diving, fishing and hunting.
Survivors in addition to his parents include 3 brothers Warren A. Bassett of Florida, Michael P. Bassett of Bellingham, Earl R. Bassett Jr. of Millville, a stepsister Lisa Murphy of Burrillville, 2 aunts, 2 uncles and several nieces and nephews, and his longtime companion Amy Stracuzzi of Woonsocket.
His services and interment are private.
Arrangements are under the direction of the Charles F. Oteri and Son Franklin Funeral Home Cottage Franklin.
