Obituary

MEDWAY - Mrs. Barbara A. (Annese) Sannicandro, 79, of Medway, died Friday, Jan. 4, 2008, at MetroWest Medical Center in Framingham, following a long illness.

She was the wife of Joseph Sannicandro, who died in 1975.

Born in Mansfield, she was a daughter of the late Antonio and Edna (Welsh) Annese, and formerly lived in Framingham and Bellingham before moving to Medway several years ago.

She was raised and educated in Mansfield, and was a retired assembly worker for the Dennison Manufacturing Co. in Framingham.

Her hobbies and interests included family and travel.

She leaves one daughter, Jeanne M. Lampasona of Franklin; one grandchild; and her longtime companion, Joseph Bogus of Medway.

Her funeral will take place Tuesday, Jan. 8, at 8:30 a.m., from the Charles F. Oteri & Son Franklin Funeral Home (www.franklinfuneral.com), 33 Cottage St., Franklin, with a funeral Mass at 9 a.m., at St. Mary's Church, 1 Church Square, Franklin.

Burial will follow in St. Mary's Cemetery in Foxboro.

A time of visitation will take place Tuesday, from 7:30 to 8:30 a.m., prior to the service.
