Obituary

Barbara Field Hammel, 91, of Franklin MA (formerly of Sherborn, MA) passed away suddenly on Tuesday, April 23, 2024.

She was the beloved wife of the late David G. Hammel and is survived by her two daughters, Lisa Kra and Lori Chaffee and their respective husbands, Douglas Kra and John Chaffee.

Also surviving are her 4 grandchildren, Jace Chaffee, Kaden Chaffee, Stephanie Kra & Danielle Kra, as well as Jace & Kaden's wives, Daun & Allison.
She was fondly known as "Super Nomi" to her 4 great grandchildren, Lila, Jian, Joa, & Gunnar.

She was so proud of her legacy and enjoyed a full & active life. She was greatly loved by her family & will be forever missed by those who knew her.

Services will be held privately with her family.
