Obituary

Anthony M. "Tony" Puntieri 67, of Medway, died peacefully, with family at his side, Friday Oct. 27, 2017 at Milford Regional Medical Center, following an illness.

Born April 12, 1950, in Calabria, Italy a son of the late Paolo and Rosaria (Paparazzo) Puntieri, he was a resident of Medway for over 10 years and was a former resident of Millis.

Tony came to the United States when he was 10 years old and settled with his family in Norwood. He was a graduate of Norwood High School and worked as a lumber foreman for General Builders Supply Company. He also worked for many years as a custodian for the Millis Public Schools.

Tony enjoyed spending time with his family, and watching football and baseball.

He is survived by his children, Paula T. Nawn and her husband Daniel of Franklin, Robert P. Puntieri of Worcester, Christie C. Puntieri of Milford, his siblings, Freddie Puntieri, Vito Puntieri both of Italy, Nick Puntieri of Norwood, Angie Casadonte of Franklin and Rita Acerra of Millis. Also surviving are his grandchildren, Dylan, Ryan and Katelyn Mingo.

He was the brother of the late Eva Lasalvia.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend his funeral Friday November 3rd at 9:15AM from the Charles F. Oteri and Son Franklin Funeral Home 33 Cottage St. followed by a funeral Mass in St. Mary's Church, Franklin at 10AM.

Interment will follow at the parish cemetery.
