Obituary

Andrew L. Park 70, of Franklin, died peacefully at home on Tuesday April 5, surrounded by his loving family, his wife Joan; daughters Pam Park, Jacki Lee, Sharon Gordon and Sue Kosar; grandchildren Christine, Andrew and Erin Holmes, James and Dylan Gordon, and Brooke and Charlotte Kosar.
Born in New Haven, Connecticut on November 15, 1940 a son of Evelyn Fontanella of Meriden, CT and the late Andrew L. Park and Anthony Fontanella. He grew up in Meriden, Connecticut. Andrew retired as vice president of operations, a position he held for 18 of his 34 years at A-P-A Transport Corp.
Andrew and his wife enjoyed traveling the country and spending time on Cape Cod and in Maine. He was an avid reader and enjoyed tennis, bicycling, gardening, bird watching and was a passionate Red Sox and Giants fan. Andrew loved spending time with his family and was a cherished husband, father and grandfather. He will be greatly missed.
He is also survived by his brothers and sisters; Bruce, Gary, Peter, & Wayne Fontanella, Paula Hancock & Susan Zimmer.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend his funeral Mass on Friday April 8th at 11AM in St. Mary's Church 1 Church Sq. Franklin, MA 02038.
There are no public calling hours.
