Obituary

Franklin--Andrew "Andy" George Ackerman, 42, of Franklin MA., died unexpectedly Monday December 10, 2012. He was the son of the late Frederick W. Ackerman who passed away in 2001. Raised in Kingston, he attended Kingston Public Schools and graduated from Silver Lake Regional High School in 1989. He was employed as an HVAC technician at various companies throughout the South Shore.
He is survived by his daughter, Leila Griffith and her partner Rob Frangieh, of Weymouth, his mother Mary L. (Dole) Ackerman, of Marlborough, and his sister Beth Anne Beard, and her husband William, of Hudson MA. He also is survived by a niece, Kathryne Ackerman-Beard of Hudson, an uncle, Ronald Ackerman, and several cousins.
He will be remembered for his gentle spirit and sense of humor.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend his calling hours at the Charles F. Oteri & Son Franklin Funeral Home, 33 Cottage Street, Franklin, MA www.oterifuneralhome.com, Saturday, December 15, from 2:00 – 4:00 P.M.
His funeral service and interment will be held privately.
