Amiel “Steve” A. Bournazian, lovingly known as “Mr. B." age 65, of Bellingham, passed away peacefully on Monday July 6 surrounded by his loving family.
Steve was the devoted husband of Linda (Lester) Bournazian for 46 wonderful years. He was the loving father of Lynn Crawford and her husband, Matthew Crawford; Steven Bournazian and wife, Jennifer Bournazian; Beth Auld and husband, Mark Auld; David Bournazian and wife, Jill Bournazian; and Kevin Bournazian and wife, Marybeth Bradley. He was predeceased by his beloved son, Michael Bournazian.
His greatest joy in life was his family. He leaves behind 12 cherished grandchildren: Jaelin, Steven, Lily, Maddie, Hailey, Brian, Aubree, Michaela, Olivia, Ellie, Logan and Jackson, all of whom brought immense happiness and pride to his life.
Born on February 18, 1961, Steve was the son of the late George Bournazian and June White. He was predeceased by his brother Paul Bournazian, and his brother-in-law, Mark Lester. He is survived by his six sisters, Alma, Sally and her husband Frank, Verna, Mary, June, Juliet and her husband Kevin; and by his two brothers, George and his partner Debbie, and Harry and his wife Roxanne; his brother-in-law, Scott Lester, and his wife Kim; and his sister-in-law, Donna Freeman, and her husband, Ken. He also leaves behind many loving nieces, nephews, and a grandniece.
Steve enjoyed fishing, spending summers in Maine and never missed the opportunity for his annual lobster feast. He found happiness in life’s simple pleasures and in the company of those he loved most.
Above all, Steve will be remembered for his open-door policy, his generous heart, and the wisdom he freely shared with anyone who walked through his door. To family, friends, neighbors, and countless others, he was a source of guidance, laughter, and unwavering support. His presence will be deeply missed and forever cherished by all who had the privilege of knowing him.
Family and friends are invited to celebrate Steve’s life with visiting hours at the Charles F. Oteri and Son Franklin Funeral Home 33 Cottage St. on Friday July 10th, from 4-7PM.
A funeral service will be held on Saturday July 11th, at 10AM in the funeral home.
Interment will follow at St. Mary's Cemetery, Franklin.
