Obituary

Alan D. Peterson 66, of Franklin, died Friday July 2, 2010 at Milford Regional Medical Center. He was the husband of Kim B. (Banghart) Peterson.
Born in Westbrook, Maine May 14, 1944 a son of the late Evald O. & Lorna E. (Nicklin) Peterson, he lived in Franklin for more than 23 years.
He was raised and educated in Lynnfield, and was a 1963 graduate of Lynnfield High School. He also attended Andover Jr. College.
Mr. Peterson was a retired document clerk and worked for the Thermo-Jarrell Ashe Co. in Franklin for over 20 years. He served in the Navy during the Viet-Nam war. He attained the rank of Disbursing clerk 3rd class.
Long associated with Boy Scouting, he was an assistant master in Wakefield & Franklin. He enjoyed card playing and summers in Newfound Lake, New Hampshire.
Surviving in addition to his wife is a son Eric D. Peterson of Franklin, and his sister Andrea E. Peterson of Lynn.
