Obituary

Alan J. Dickson 59, of Franklin, and a former Norfolk resident, died Monday November 15, 2010 at Milford Regional Medical Center. He was the loving husband of Marie L. (Randall) Dickson.
Born in Salem, Ohio August 21, 1951 a beloved son of James and Wanda (Howells) Dickson of Columbiana, Ohio, he was raised and educated in Ohio and came to the New England area many years ago.
Alan enjoyed spending time with his family, and all the New England sports teams.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by his children, Jennifer Dickson& Jesse Wentworth and their two cherished children, Dylan and Elizabelle of Douglas, Travis Dickson of Plainville, and Amy Dickson of Boston. He also leaves four siblings Carolyn Falzetta and her husband Dennis of Leetonia, OH; Pamela DiRocco and her husband Mike of Louisville, OH, Lynne Beech and her husband Andy of Lisbon, OH; & Larry Dickson and his fiancée Marianne of Columbiana, OH, & the son-in-law of Richard Randall of Franklin. Also surviving are several nieces, nephews, and friends.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend his funeral service Saturday November 20th, at 12:30PM in the Charles F. Oteri & Son Franklin Funeral Home 33 Cottage St. Franklin, www.franklinfuneral.com.
Interment will be held privately.
A calling hour will be held from 11:30-12:30 prior to the service.
In lieu of flowers, donations in his memory sent to the Children's Hospital of Pittsburgh, 1 Children's Hospital Dr. Central Plant, Floor 3 4401 Penn Ave, Pittsburgh, PA 15224-1342 would be appreciated.
